It's a nice sounding scale that fits well to minor backing tracks. When used properly it sounds like spy movies music from the 80s.
In this example it's in the key of Em and it's notes are: e f# g a# b c d#. Em aeolian mode is e f# g a b c d. Those unusual notes which make this scale sound unique are a# which is the flat 5 that you play in the blues scale and the flat 1 which you play in the minor pentatonic flat 1 scale.
