Schecter Hellraiser C-7 electric guitar review

Schecter Hellraiser C-7 is a high quality 7-string guitar with 26.5" scale. It has a mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, locking tuners, locking T-O-M bridge, good quality nut and two EMG 707TWs which allow coil splitting. It's very comfortable, it stays in tune and it sounds awesome.

Tuning stability 10/10

No issues. Its neck is made from 3 pieces of mahogany for increased stability. The nut is well cut and impregnated with teflon and the bridge has a locking mechanism.

Acoustic sound 9.5/10

Epic acoustic tone. It's loud, fat, saturated and clear also. It pretty much seems to me that the Black TUSQ nut contributes to the overall tone and long sustain of this axe.

Electric sound 10/10

Perfect for hi-gain tones as well as for clean stuff. Probably not so perfect for country or blues, but certainly fantastic for heavy music.

Finish 10/10

Flawless.

Neck 9.5/10

The neck is playable for sure. It's almost the best that you can get with such a long scale. The only complaint I have is that the last two frets are not as easily accessible as in some other guitars. The situation is better than in Omen and Demon series, but it's still not that great as in Ibanez RG guitars. Other than that it feels very good.
